Sponsor a Child through the Scholarship Program

At The Lace Theatre Company, we believe that every child deserves an opportunity to participate in local community theatre to have a safe and exciting place to express and learn about themselves through the performing arts, whether it be onstage or off. The Theatre opens up many avenues for creative expression--dance, visual art, music, movement, crafting, literature--which are all essential to the development of a child.

We are excited to announce our new Scholarship Program which gives outsiders a chance to sponsor a select number of students and give them a full scholarship for the opportunity to perform with us without the need of the financial burden that tuition costs can cause.

Volunteer

Volunteer

Here at The Lace, we are always looking for extra hands and would love all the help we can get! Volunteering is a great way to exercise a love for the arts and help local community programs which is why we value and appreciate every single volunteer that helps us out! If you're still in school, as well, we can certainly help you get some volunteer hours for programs, or just help you build your resume with unique production experience!

Help with the Youth Program

With the start of our Youth Program, we are looking for some high school and college aged young adults that love working with and teaching children as much as we do! Volunteers are needed by this program for extra supervision when in rehearsals, specific examples and demonstrations, help with set, prop, or costume construction, and, most importantly, creating a positive and supportive space for our young actors to grow their love and potential.

Help the Production Team

There are so many odd jobs in the theatre world that require such a unique and delicate talent, so volunteering to help our production team is a great way to get your skills out there and help a community program. We're always looking for some extra help with set, prop, and costume construction, ushering performances, backstage assistance, and light and sound board operators!

Our volunteers are very important to us and we love to help interested people in our community gain the opportunity to learn more about theatre arts. If you're over 13 years old and interested in volunteering offstage in rehearsals or show weekends, please send us an email and we can help figure out exactly how to help you get the experience you want!
